The Case for Cross Industry
Work-related gendered violence is a pervasive issue that affects countless individuals across all sectors, from healthcare to finance, manufacturing, education, and beyond. Yet, despite its widespread impact, many industries tackle gendered violence in isolation, often missing out on broader insights, innovative practices, and support networks.
In recent years, cross-industry forums have emerged as a valuable approach to addressing work-related gendered violence, creating a space where different sectors come together to share experiences, strategies, and solutions. Through the WorkWell Respect Network (WWRN) two industries, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Hospitality have come together for the first time to face this issue head on.
